Just another update

April started off with Easter. This year we spent down at Kyle's parents house. We had lots of food, egg hunts and fun. Saturday morning we went to Capital Reef to have an Easter egg hunt for all the kid. It wasn't the warmest and they took forever to get started as you can see in the picture by Hayden's face. But once it got started he was loving the picking up game, of course with the help from his dad. Sure glad the Easter bunny found us all the way down south.

The very next weekend was spring break for the kids in school. Every year on this weekend my (Camille's) dad's side of family heads to the sand dunes. It is one of my favorite things we do each year. I think my uncle said my family has been going out there for over 30 something years. Same camp site, all though it only started with 3 trailers, now there is 7. We always have the Williams family softball game, but I have to say there isn't to many Williams left. There is mostly girls amongst us cousins and we all have new last names. This trips brings out the best in all of us. We have the biggest camp fires, we laugh our guts out and eat wayyyyy to much. My dad thinks all we go camping for is to eat and take naps. I love my family, I wish everyone could be as close as we are. Here is quit a few pictures of that trip.

(Lf to Rt) Brother Paul's, Cousin Mark's, & my Parents, we go in comfort.

(Lf to Rt) Cousin Amy's, Aunt LuAnn's, Sister Tawnya's and Cousin Annie's is behind.

Our camp site. You couldn't find one better. We are away from the road and it
drops down just enough we don't get the dessert wind.

He LOVES playing in the dirt.

Best friends Hayden with his cousin Shelby

Pink Barbie bucket and Pink shovel. He is tough
enough to wear and play with PINK things.

Watch out we are all loaded. These last few years someone brings an old empty
propane tank to shoot. We had it at all different distances 420 to 550 to 1000 yards. Oh it's fun.

My dad teaching the little ones to shoot a BB gun. We start them young

One afternoon we went to Porter Rockwell's place. This was one big/old tree.

The annual softball game. I didn't want the sand to get in my eyes

The ball field

Watching the horse shoe game. This was one of the few times it rained.
We were pretty darn lucky. Back at home it was pouring all weekend.
Good thing the Williams up above was watching out for us.
We sure miss Uncle Carl, G&G Williams and Uncle Gordon.

The same weekend Kyle was hunting his turkey. This year he was using his bow. He ended up resorting back to the shot gun on the last weekend. Good job Kyle.

Dad and Hayden

Dad is starting him off early.
And last, after seeing how much Hayden loves the dirt we bought him a sand box. Thank to our good friend for the sand, he can now make sand pies. We sure do love that kid.

Thank you for visiting. Hope everyone is doing good. If anyone has a blog I would love to follow it. Would you email me it or invite me please. kyleandcamille@gmail.com

Update

April, Really? Where did the first 3 months go. The month of February was not one of the funnest months. Hayden had his first cold for two weeks and then he had double ear infections for another week and a half. He really tested his parents patients. I do not wish that on my worst enemy. Now if we can just keep him from getting anymore.
Between him being sick and the ear infection we went swimming with my (Camille's) family. Every Monday it's family night at the Provo rec center so we take advantage of it. He loved every minute of it. He splashed and splashed. He didn't care if it got in his eye, he would just laugh and do it again. No one wanted to be by us. Here is a few pictures from that night.

He didn't care to much for the duck.
For a week in February I had a conference in Moab. And Kyle had to play Mrs mom. I had everything all lined out for him. Who had him what days. I even had a grocery list for him. I must say they both survived. But while I was at conference I faced one of my fears. With a little convincing I held a large snake. I have the pictures to prove it. I thought they were all slimy, found out there not. I was OK until they put it around my neck and it started to move and that was the end of it. But glad I did it.

One weekend Kyle and I found ourselves with a 3 day weekend and nothing planned. For those who know us, that doesn't happen very often. We always have plans. So we decided to run to his parents house so he could do some shed hunting. He decided to go just for a walk by his dad's house and came home with the BIGGEST smile on his face and all these in his hands.

If you have a blog would you email (kyleandcamille@gmail.com) me an invite? It is easier to keep up with everyone in our busy lives.
