Christmas/New Years

Wow I am sorry it has taken me so long to update this. It is amazing how busy life can be. I will try not to boar you to death while catching up.
Christmas this year was so much fun, even though Hayden could've cared less. He didn't even mind dear old Santa. He sat on his lap 3 different times and not one tear shed. Santa was his best friend after receiving the candy cane Christmas Eve night at Grandma Lottie's house. He was his favorite santa. :)

The only way they would sit on his lap was with a candy cane.

Christmas morning Kyle had us up at 6 am. I said go back to sleep Hayden isn't even awake. Just then we hear him waking up and Kyle said oh yes he is hehe. So off to the front room we went. He didn't care to much for all the presents, I thought he would at least like the wrapping paper. I have to admit santa had to hold back a little this year and not spoil him. One of his gifts was a push car stroller (whatever you want to call it). Dad had to put it together before we did anything else. And man did santa do good on the present. That kid loves it.

Hayden had to eat first thing.

The yellow putton he is pushing is the start and the horn and he knows right where it is.

Our walk around the block in his new car.

Christmas was great like always. Lots of family time.
For the new year we went to Kyle's parents house with all his family. His brother called and said the geese
are in. You need to go get some burlap to cover us up while in the feild. So off to Cal Ranch to get some. He came out empty handed. He said it was way to espenseive (with a sad look on his face) now what will we use?
I said you can try JoAnn's fabric? Maybe they will have some camo material on sale. So off we went. I for sure thought it was going to be me go in. Nope Hayden was asleep and I told him he would know what he wanted so he had to go in. After being in there for about 20 minutes I was getting concerned that all the ladies trapped him in there with being one of the very few guys that had ever been in. Finally he came out and said that he had been givin the most help he had ever received. I said I'm sure they seen you and thought, this guy is going to need some help. Well when checking out the cashier asked him what he was using all this burlap for? He tried to explain but she just kept looking at him funny and said ok good luck. I just laughed. Well as you can see in the pictures it worked. It made us camoflauge to the field. As you can tell by the huge smile on Kyles face he got another band to add to his collection. That was one of my favorite hunts. I was dry, I didn't have to walk a mile in the marsh, I was somewhat warm and the truck came right to us to pick it all up.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
