Thanksgiving

This year was spent with the Bone family in Bicknell at Kyle's parents house. There was lots of food, family, hunting, shopping, and fun. Thursday Kyle went duck/goose hunting while I worked my holiday. Then we ate and ate and ate oh and ate some more. Friday all the girls went to the big town of Richfield to do some Christmas shopping while all the men had all the kids. Of course we took our time getting back. Saturday Kyle and his brother Cody headed out in the blasted cold to hunt ducks and geese again. (there not all there ;) the rest of us waited for it to warm up to go cut our Christmas trees. We decided to split up this year so it didn't take all day. We went with Jeremy and his family and found there tree right away, and ours shortly after. Kyle and I (mostly myself) are so excited for Christmas this year. I know Hayden isn't going to know the difference but I will. Hayden loved walking around looking for our tree while watching Sadie (our dog) running around and jumping in the snow. As you can see we are a very family oriented family. I've said it before, I couldn't imagine not being close to my family and I wish the everyone could be as close as we are in there own families.
I was finally able to get all my decoration up with the help of Kyle. We only had one fallen tree, a section of lights out in the middle of the house and fallen garland. And we managed to still like each other.
Hayden loves watching the blinking lights on the tree and looking out the front window and the yard decorations. I can't wait for Christmas eve with my family, after opening presents from each other we all ride together through the festival of lights.
Well enough of my blabbing, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Grandma Bone reading stories.

Jeremy, Kyle and Cody with there birds.

This is my favorite picture.

Mommies turn.

O Christmas tree O Christmas tree

This is what happens when you get your brother a BIG tree, Sadie had
to ride up front all the way back home. What a ride 4 of us in the
front of the truck. Memories can't beat'em

All decorated

As you can see we had to hang the stockings by deer horns with the
shot gun bullets lights over head.

Hey if he is going to be in my living room he will be decorated. I
couldn't get the red nose to stay. Kyle said that is where he draws the line

This was my grandma's, I am so lucky to have it to place it in the
center of  the room for memories.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Kyle, Hayden and I are so thankful for all your friendships.

1 year old... and before.

So the rule that my grandma made was a kid couldn't get there first hair cut until they turned 1. We went as close as we could to his birthday. We took family pictures and I wanted it cut before. Let me answer your question. (did he throw a fit getting it cut?) Yes in deed. I think we gave him all we had available to keep him entertained. Picks, combs, treats, hair clips, you name it. It wasn't working. But we got it done and he looked so grown up. He wasn't my baby anymore. Here is a few pictures for you.
Here goes the first cut.

One of the many toys

Look at how much she is cutting off. The sad thing is, he is
almost ready for another cut.

Told you we were trying anything and everything lol

Tooth brushes

All done.. Not very happy is he?

One really? It seems like just yesterday that we were meeting with his birth mom, meeting him for the first time, making all the trips to see him, finally bringing him home, the first few weeks of sleepless night to the smiles, the laughs, to the first teeth (they come in as twos, he has 6 now). I can't wait to see what the next year brings. Time sure does fly by.
So we had a birthday party Saturday with lots of friends and family to celebrate. I think I've mentioned it before but this kid is spoiled. You'll see in the pictures. And of course we let him dig into his own cake. At first he didn't know what to think of how it felt but that didn't last long. He jumped on in and went to town. He was so proud of himself. I think he would've ate the whole thing if I would've let him. I knew we were going to pay for this in the first place. A big thanks to those who joined us in this celebration.

Hayden's very own cake.

All of the cousins and friends helped him open his presents

Help this one is to big.

He was sooo excited when we sang to him.

Let the fun begin.

Soooo excited...

One Happy Boy.

Myself, Kyle, Hayden, And his birth mom Lara it was so nice to have her there.

Told you he was spoiled

He loves his toys.

I know these are a little in the past but still good one. In the month of October we did nothing but hunt. I was able to bag my buck as you seen but Kyle still has his tag. Hopefully he will go later this year and get one.
Here is Kyle and Hayden after a 4 wheeler ride.
This is the beginning of many rides.

It was also Hayden's first Halloween. He dressed up as a caterpillar and of course the cutest one. We went to Kyles sister house and went around with the family trick or treating. Hayden loved watching all the kids. He even lasted quit a while

Family Pictures

It's a miracle that these even happened. With the hunts from August to January, we were lucky to have everyone tagged out or there hunt was over. I owe all my family for pulling this together last minute. We did family pictures, had Sunday dinner and carved pumpkins all in one day. I also want to thanks the Harwood family for letting us use their barn/farm. And Mark for taking the pictures. They turned out great. Hope you enjoy them.

Last the best Hayden Bug...
Last carving of the pumpkins.

This last one is ours. I couldn't get the camera to work when it was lite. With scraping the outside of the middle it really looked a candy corn. Well next post will be of Hayden in his costume and trick or treating.
