So today the plan was to start on getting the house ready, having our house check done, and do a few other things then go see Hayden tomorrow... Well as you can see all that didn't happen. Last night was a long night, I tried to watch tv and not think about him but that wasn't happening. I started to cry and Kyle said, Do we need to go see him? I said no if you will take me tomorrow... He said ok. So we went up right after the guy left. We walked in and the nurse said Hi mom and dad.. That was crazy to hear. We ask how he was doing. She said well lets look to see what the Doctor wrote down. There wasn't anything, no black marks. She said he is doing GREAT. (I sure hope he is like that when he gets home lol)
It was so good to see him and touch him. If you look close in one of the pictures you can see he even opened his eyes. And you can see his hair more and more. The nurse said we wont be able to tell just what color his hair is until they give him a bath and wash it. And it wasn't any easier leaving him today to come home. But we will see him tomorrow and Saturday.
Oh my goodness!! He is soooo sweet!!! I know just how tiny he is, becuase Rhett uses the tender grips, (the sticky tabs holding the oxygen in place, which by the way are NOT tender!!) They take up almost all of Haydan's head!!
ReplyDeleteThe vact that he's not on the ventilator anymore is fantastic!! What a little fighter he is. He's gonna be home in no time, and keeping you up allllll night long. :D
